Barisan Porphyry Belt
The Barisan Porphyry Belt is located in Indonesia's Aceh Province. The Project consists of two contiguous license areas totalling 151,618 hectares. Barisan Gold has identified a 5x15 km corridor that encompasses six drill ready porphyry prospects, four of which have had historical drilling in the late 1990s by operators such as Rio Tinto/North who abandoned the region in 2000 due to civil unrest. In 2007, Barisan Gold's predecessor company, East Asia Minerals, acquired the Project following a peace agreement in the region. These six porphyry prospects include:
- Upper Tengkereng
- Lower Tengkereng
- Upper Ise Ise
- Bahu
- Middle Ise Ise
- Lower Ise Ise
